We are in the process of testing a solution.

I have previously tested this change and at the time I determined that it would be unfeasible because the accordion wasn't designed with nesting in mind, and it would likely involve building a separate accordion paragraph designed to nest paragraphs.

I looked at it again, and I think it can be done if I model the changes to the accordion item on the lab section paragraph.

Notes:

• Add an Accordion Item Content entity reference revisions field

• Change Content field label and removed required condition

• Edit accordion item template to render new field

Extensive testing is required to ensure nested paragraphs do not interact with each other in undesired ways. We also need to make sure that any new paragraphs added to the accordion item are also available to the content type the accordion is added to. For instance, it would be puzzling to a user if they couldn’t add a map embed to a lab but could add an accordion with a map embed to the lab.
